Crustless Wild Flower Honey Pie

Crust-less Wild Flower Honey Pie

Yield: 1- 9 inch Delicious Creamy Pie

Sometimes I just crave a custard pie. Nice and creamy…. oh ya! What I love about this pie is that it can be served hot, like they do in the south or cold and creamy. Wild flower honey is a great choice for this pie as wild flower honey is very robust. It provides sweetness but more importantly, it has tons of flavor from the various floral sources. I hope you truly enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 cups whole milk

4 ea whole eggs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup wild flower honey (local honey of course!)

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a blender, add all of the ingredients and turn on. Mix until nice and smooth.

Pour into a deep dish baking pan and bake until the center is wiggly but not wavy.

Take out the pie and let is rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Eat it warm or cool it over night. Slice off a piece…..or two and enjoy
