Honey For Health

Angela Graham, Honey Specialist
My passion for bees began around 15 years old. I was sitting on a rock in the middle of a sparkling river when I experienced the buzzing visitor. I had been drinking a sweet liquid and the bee perched itself in between my lips and proceeded to drink and dance for a full five minutes. I was mesmerized.
At the exact same time, miles down the same river, my brother stepped on a bee and went into anaphylactic shock. He was rushed to the tiny local store–the only around–and lay swollen and barely able to breathe when we reached him. Fortunately, the elderly man running the store had a granddaughter who was allergic to bees so he carried an extra shot of adrenaline. I was struck by my intensely spiritual experience with bees in contrast to my brother’s near death experience. The awesome power that these phenomenal creatures possess was enough to capture my heart and reverent respect for years to come.
I have since traveled the world working various jobs and educating myself via University and experience. I have recently become a mother and developed an even stronger desire to create a better world. I feel very fortunate to have found Sweet As Can Bee Honey Farm, so that I may resume my love affair with bees and that I may actively support a sustainable, organic environment for my daughter. I hope to be a source of education on honey and bees, offering monthly articles on the amazing health benefits of raw honey and the rich, sweet history of our beloved bees. I look forward to sharing with you.

Great health info, one site I just visited said there was not much info on raw honey or pollen except from the sellers. I just bought a small sandwich bag of pollen from you at the Taste of Edmonds today and was told to start by only taking 4 chuncks a day and work up from there. I am searching your site to see if I can find any more info and cant find anything, the girl at the booth did not seem to have all the answers to my questions. Can you send me any info on this to jahners@aol.com I checked what vitacost.com had to say about the bee pollen that they sell and this stuff sounds real interesting.
I love, love LOVE sweet as can bee honey!! This is my second order, as my last just ran out. The taste is amazing, and how can you go wrong with such great recipes?
Thank you so much for being in the PNW! :)
It’s so nice to “meet” another as passionate about honey as me :)
